Collective Roots APG provides alternative peer group services to help adolescents who struggle with substance use become rooted in recovery. Because substance use affects the entire family, we also offer group and individual support for family members.
Collective Roots APG seeks dependable, ENTHUSIASTIC, and compassionate peer recovery coaches to work with youth ages 13-18. The recovery coach supports our mission of encouraging enthusiastic recovery by coordinating fun, social, sober activities to engage Collective Roots APG participants and their families. Recovery coaches also facilitate weekly support meetings in which they share from a skilled knowledge base regarding 12 step and recovery programming. The recovery coach supports participants in building their own recovery skill-set and in making necessary changes to lead lives free from self-destructive behaviors.
Typical hours are from 3-6:30pm, and some evening and weekend hours are required. Part-time recovery coaches can expect to work 15 to 20 hours per week with the potential to work full time, if desired.
